The spring in the flame flashback safety valve is always pressured condition so it obstruct opposite way gas flow.So that reason it takes away the blow out risk of the mixed gas in the low and high pressure hoses. Gas flow also starts in the special sintered chrome nickel filter when the spring pressure is loosen.
